Tobyhanna Baseball
The Tobyhanna Little League is a community based organization offering baseball programs for boys and girls residing in Coolbaugh Township. We have several divisions of play from our Tee Ball Division to Senior Division. The season begins on Opening Day usually the last Saturday in April and runs through middle of June. We also participate in the District 29 Tournaments which take play after the regular season ends, normally June 15th. During the Fall, we offer Fall Baseball for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 15. At the conclusion of the regular season, we celebrate our teams by holding an Annual Awards and Closing Ceremony at which all players receive a trophy for participating in our program. There are special awards presented to the All Stars and those who participated in any special events they we run during the year. In addition, we added a special awards for 2009 called the "Manager's Awards". This award is presented to the player who best demonstrated the ideals as stated in our Mission Statement. The registration fee covers the cost of the uniform, field equipment, trophy, closing ceremony, as well as other administrative fees such as insurance, charter and district fees. Players are responsible to provide their own baseball glove, cleats and athletic protective cup. The registration fee is as follows:
We also offer assistance for those families with financial
hardships. We will not turn away a child due to financial
hardship. For more information about financial assistance please
contact our office. |
